Aid in finding the correct Service Dog-If you decide that you would like to work with us in obtaining and training a service dog to fit your needs, unless you currently have a dog that we feel fits your need and passes our evaluations for work, we require that you work with us to help you find the appropriate dog. We charge a one time $250 fee for this portion of the service which involves working with you through phone and e-mail correspondence, traveling to visit dogs with you (limited to New England states) and evaluating dogs that may fit your need. You may choose to do some searching on your own of dog shelters, rescues or breeders, but all dogs you are interested with must be approved by MAP, through phone or e-mail, before an evaluation of the dog will be scheduled. Understand that the average time it takes to find the correct dog for you is about 1 year, sometimes longer. |
