At Maplewood Dog Training, behavior problems are our expertise. Utilizing proven, effective, humane and safe behavior modification protocols, we have successfully helped clients change and manage their dog's aggressive, fearful, and compulsive behaviors and phobias. Our Certified Canine Behavior Consultant, Katrin Andberg, CBCC-KA, CDBC, has over 15 years of experience working with dogs with behavior problems, and dogs who stare, bark, lunge, or worse, at others, both on and off-leash, are our expertise.

Our goals for our behavior clients are to reduce both your and your dog's stress, give you the appropriate tools and information on how to safely read and steward your dog, positively change how your dog views the triggering situation, and increase safety for all concerned.  We want you, your family, and your dog to feel more confident, more in control and less stressed by the problem.      

During the Initial Behavior Consult, the 1-2hr session is spent assessing and evaluating the concerns you would like to address, implementing an immediate safety management plan, and developing a behavior modification program to address the underlying complaints.  Follow-up sessions are focused on implementation of the behavior modification program for long term success and safety.  To ensure increased safety for all parties, Initial Consults are conducted at our facility in Sharon, MA.  Clients may have the option to schedule follow up sessions in their home or other location.  Payment for the initial consult and follow up sessions are billed at a set rate, with package discount options available.  Katrin has over 15 years of professional experience assessing canine behavior and temperament; she can give you the realistic and honest assessment you need to safely address your dog's serious concerns.
