We really, REALLY wish there were signs, or a note, or a web site or SOMETHING that said NO FREAKING DOGS ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We drove 1.5 bloody hrs to walk the dogs in a nice park and got yelled at by some stupid irate state employee!  Just for taking a picture at the lovely reservoir!  Arg!!!!!  The dogs were really irritated for having to stay in the truck, oh well.
