We just finished our latest adventure, a whirl wind tour of the South West. We picked up TX, AZ, NM and CA to add to our tally. We're now up to 32 states! More than 3/5 of the way there. We're 1/2 way there, reaching states 24, 25 and 26 on a Friend to Friend North East trek to add WV, VA, and NC as well as visit a bunch of folks we rarely see! (this our 1st time actually narrating a 'trip' page along with photos. Let us know how you like it- better or less? katrin@maplewooddog.com ) We welcome your comments In June 2007 we went to Quabbin Reservoir (which yes is in MA) but Katrin got a NEW dog! A breeder return Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Monty! Yes once again we're in MA, but historic MA this time! We went to Plymouth over Memorial Day Weekend! Katrin had to judge a NADAC trial for Cool Critters in FL, so we took the opportunity to fly Clara (in a Sherpa Bag!) so she could come to Florida and add that to her count!
In the Fall of 2006 we had to visit York Beach, ME where Katrin's agility equipment manufacturer is, www.atomicagility.com (visit them!!! they're great!!!) and so we brought the dogs along for a walk on the beach too! August 2006 was a HUGE trip! We drove from MA to WA state and back! In 3 weeks!!! That included 10 days spent camping in a tent in Idaho at NADAC so Katrin could go to a judge's clinic and then Li and I with Clara and Niche could attend a Foundations Clinic (wicked cool! well worth it if you can ever go!) And yes folks, Li did get to stick her feet IN the Pacific Ocean! (there is narration on this trip's page)
Another judging trip in April 2006 took us to Maryland. Unfortunately, we didn't get any photos but did pick up MD and DE as states. And who can forget the inaugural Clara Across America trip!? To the NADAC Agility Championships and back in St Louis, MO in October 2005 by way of Niagara falls! Photos of those have to be scanned into a computer and will be posted soon.
