To travel to all of these places, you need transportation, right?

99% of the way we get anywhere with all of these dogs and our 'stuff' is by car, my 2006 GMC Sierra Extended Cab Pick-up Truck to be exact.  It's dark blue (very stunning), has a cap and is a perfect dog travel mobile!  There is a platform in the bed, under the cap, so that dogs can ride on top and all of our stuff can go underneath.  My father was even nice enough to make a gate so that the hatch can be open, giving air, but the dog's can't jump out!  I've also replaced the flimsy screens with wire mesh.  That was after James decided to go through 1 of the original ones!  We made it through 3 weeks of a cross country trip and managed to fit EVERYTHING in the truck!  Didn't have to go to Wal-Mart even once!

(The truck at the Badlands.  And then Monty thinks the truck is HIS, *I* beg to differ, I am the one who is still paying it off!)

We also now have a 'back up vehicle' Li's new/used 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Mini-Van!  It is also dark blue, but one shade lighter than the pick-up.  It's a really nice ride!!!

We did fly to Florida though, with Clara in a Sherpa Bag.  But we have no plans to fly anywhere else in this great adventure.
